Season in Retrospect
Team defiant and proud despite a difficult inaugural season

...for the birds

The end of the Verdasys Softball’s inaugural 2008 season has come. And despite a difficult and challenging season whose end result some say is best left for the birds, the team remains defiant and proud of their accomplishments.

And thanks to the talents of the photography core, the writing staff, and the website team, the world can examine and informally critique the season that past, finding answers to such yearning questions as:

  • What was the catch that had everyone in office talking?
  • How did A-WOL split his lip during practice?
  • Who fractured their ankle during the season?
  • What was the controversial play that got the team all rallied up?
  • How did the team fair against the Dominican All-Stars?
  • How did OConnor manage to trip over first with no one covering it?
  • Who's a better hitter: Grimard or Muldoon?
  • How did the team collect their sole win of the season?
  • And most of all, "How do I get to the field"?
  • So pull-up a chair, grab some peanuts and Cracker Jacks and enjoy what is quite possibly the best softball team website on the Internet.
